Tanner security anchors for normal-weight concrete, grouted, hollow and brick masonry, offer a high-value, cost-effective solution for safeguarding products and property. Security anchors are a bit more expensive than conventional commercial fasteners, but the added security is worth the additional cost. Tanner offers several different types of security anchors, based on your product and assembly requirements, we’ll help you find the right solution.

Secure-Bolt Sleeve Anchors are available assembled with multiple application head styles, button head and flat head stainless steel posts with 6-lobe tamper-resistant drive, or with a trident nut. The button and flat head anchors have a choice of a stainless steel post and zinc plated anchor body or a stainless steel post with a stainless steel anchor body. Trident Nut sleeve anchors are offered with a Zamac 5 zinc alloy nut with steel zinc plated body or a 316 stainless steel Trident nut with an 18.8 stainless steel body. Diameters range from ¼” to 5/8” and lengths from 1-1/4” up to 7”. Extension sleeves can be added to create longer lengths. Secure- Bolt Sleeve Anchors are preassembled for faster, easier installations.

• Anchor holes should be drilled with carbide-tipped hammer drill bits; anchor diameter equals hole diameter.
• Use Torx^® Equivalent 6-lobe tamper-resistant bits to drive the button and flat head anchors, made from S2 modified shock-resistant steel for professional performance and durability.
• Trident Nut Secure-Bolt sleeve anchors are installed with a standard drive ratchet, not to be used with an impact wrench.

Secure-Bolt Sleeve Anchors are perfect for door and window frame installations, fitting easily through window and door jambs without hanging up. Electrical junction box installation is also a common application for the use of the Secure-Bolt. In the correctional industry, Secure-Bolt is used for detention equipment and behavioral healthcare furniture installation. Other installation applications are bike racks, handrails, guardrails, and fencing posts.

For heavy-duty applications in concrete where high load values and tamper resistance are required, use the new Secure-Bolt Plus with Tanner Guard+ protective coating, a high-performance security screw anchor that cuts its own threads into concrete. The specially designed serrated threads cut into the sides of the hole and interlock with the base material during installation.
