Champion’s Brand New Carbide Tipped Stack Cutting Annular Cutters

Champion has just come out with a brand new line of Carbide Tipped Stack Cutting Annular Cutters. Unlike typical annular cutters, these stack cutters are engineered to drill through multiple layers of material at a time. Stack cutters allow you to cut large diameter holes in structural steel beams and plate. They can be used in conjunction with Champion Magnetic Drill Presses to easily drill through multiple layers at once. The stack-cutting annular cutters are designed so you can drill through multiple layers of material without having to stop to remove each center plug. The plugs will build up inside the cutter and be ejected out once the final layer is drilled through. This feature can save you valuable time when your job involves drilling multiple holes.

Champion’s Carbide Tipped Stack Cutting Annular Cutters are designed with a special tooth geometry that enables you to smoothly drill through multiple plates at once, where typical non-modified cutters cannot. They are manufactured with a special inner diameter grind (ID), this allows them to cut cylindrical slugs without leaving the traditional “top hat brim”. This enables multiple slugs to build up inside the cutter, which is cleanly ejected when the final plate is drilled.
