LaGuardia Airport’s Delta expansion was taking place while the airport was still fully operational.

CHALLENGE

LaGuardia ran into the challenge of connecting steel components for a curtain wall installation without the use of welding due to the resulting safety hazard of the area being exposed to the public.

SOLUTION

LNA proposed the use of BeamClamp, which allowed them to connect the steel without the need for welding or drilling and allowed the airport to remain fully operational. Original Case Study
