Did You Know DeWalt 20V MAX* Tools are Compatible with the New FLEXVOLT™ 20V/60V MAX* Batteries?

The Technology That’ll Change How You Look at Cordless Power Tools

The FLEXVOLT™ battery’s ability to automatically change between two voltages gives users a serious advantage when it comes to efficiency. It’s the battery that not only powers, but improves the runtime** of  DeWalt 20V MAX* tools, so you don’t have to invest in a whole new system. When the new FLEXVOLT™ 20V/60V MAX* battery is inserted into a 20V MAX* tool, the battery automatically changes into Parallel mode.  In parallel mode, the revolutionary FLEXVOLT™ 15-cell battery can deliver up to 4X the runtime** to your current 20V MAX* tools. In this mode, three sets of five cells each are connected in parallel to give you 20V MAX* and 6.0 Ah for increased runtime.

  1. Timothy,

You will not be able to use the 20V Batteries in the FlexVolt Tools, they will not provide enough power to the tool.
BUT you can use the new FlexVolt Batteries in your existing 20V tools.

  2. I have two 60V Flexvolt 6.0 AH Batteries. I these batteries interchangeable with say the new DR snowblower Pulse 62 V snow blower.

Thanks in advance for your response.

  3. The batteries in my 20v max tools are DCB207 1.3ah, are all 20v batteries interchangeable, can I jump up to the 3 or 5 amp batteries?
    Thanks in advance
